During my time at 180NY, we had the opportunity to work with our client ConAgra on a local summer activation for Reddi-wip. With the growing popularity of roller skating during the pandemic, we decided to sponsor an outdoor roller skating event called The Rollerwave NYC at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY, with a campaign pieces to activate beyond the event .
To enhance the experience, we partnered with Van Leeuwen ice cream to offer complimentary Reddi-wip topper sundaes in branded koozies, and we also provided attendees with Reddi-wip branded t-shirts and 70s-inspired socks, adding to the fun atmosphere.
To ensure the event reached a wider audience beyond the park, we hired a photographer to capture captivating imagery for longterm social media and other digital marketing purposes. Additionally, we collaborated with roller skating influencers, who shared sponsored posts about the event and brand on their platforms. To boost engagement, we created a playful AR filter exclusively available on Reddi-wip's Instagram account.
Throughout the campaign, I took on the role of project management and budget oversight, from the initial pitch to its successful conclusion, providing on-the-ground leadership to ensure everything ran smoothly.
